You dont. This was the basic machine and for fabric softner you had to let the machine finish, then add your softner straight into the drum and set it off again.
    Bit of a faff.

  • cheekyface3:

where do you put the fabric softner?

  • matchbox3236h:

800rpm. a 20second burst for short spin and 4minutes worth for long.

  • paulinroyton:

Nice looking machine, good long tumble action when washing. What is the RPM of this machine.
    Regards
    Paul

That’s nearly 3 years before i was born, it looks in very good condition for it’s age.

  • matchbox3236h:

final spin will be posted tonight – unfortunately I havent made a vid of the long, so it will be just another short spin. will make a long spin vid, when its next brought out to play.

  • matchbox3236h:

you just dump it in with the clothes – straight into the drum. a very basic machine.

  • matchbox3236h:

came off the production line back in April 1977 – 32 odd years old.

  • Nicko6180:

What year was this machine made? It looks quite old.

  • dick2ricky:

the wash action is great love the old washers can you do a video of the final spin

  • matthewperry1982:

where does the washing powder go

  • matchbox3236h:

    cant wait to hear it.
i will know in a second if its the same as my grans machine. I can hear her A3E02 now.

  • electron1100:

ha ha i will record the AS1 programmer as that groans like hell!…….i normally put spray lube in them to quiet them down LOL

  • matchbox3236h:

programmer sounds different to my grans A3E02 – i had expected it to sound the same.
This is positive clicks, whilst my grans made groaning noises, followed by a big clunk as it moved on. will have to find what programmer type my grans had.

Oh to get all our machines together! imagine the nostalgia rush.

  • electron1100:

Great wash action and sound from the motor and programmer
